Harvest Door Decor

Harvest Door Decor

 Good Afternoon Ladies!
I took down all my Halloween Decor and now I'm onto Harvest Decor :)

I started by making this beautiful Door Decor for my front door..
Honestly this is one of those things that looks better in person, It was really hard to photograph for some reason.
Here's how I did it:

I bought this Dark Cherry Frame and the Towel at the Dollar Tree.
I found these butterflies on clearance at the craft store for only $o.59!

I made this Harvest Art at WORDLE and it was so much fun!
Have you heard of Wordle?? It is positively the best thing since sliced bread! You type the words to want, and then it jumbles them all up and you can change the font, colors, directions..etc..You can spend forever on this site!

I cut the towel into strips and made some Rosettes, hot glued them on, and then clipped on the butterflies..so easy!

I used three 1 inch wide long strips from the towel and braided them, then hot glued them to the back of the frame.

Then I cut a few squares out of some craft foam sheets and hot glued them to the back corners of the frame.
I do this so that when someone opens and/or shuts my front door it doesn't slam against the door and make loud noise and/or break.

DONE! I hung it on my front door and called it a day :)
I love how it turned out and it was so inexpensive and easy to make.

  1. I love how it turned out! What a great idea to use the kitchen towel from the Dollar store for the rosettes. I'll definitely be using that trick!

  2. Thanks Rachel! The rosettes kind of look like they were made from burlap or something, the towel worked out great :)
