Matchbook Notepad

Matchbook Notepad

Today I am showing you Matchbook Notepads...a little notepad to keep in your purse, diaper bag, backpack, you name it using either recycled products or scrapbook paper :)

The reason they are called Matchbook Notepads is because they are folded like a Matchbook....just in case you needed help figuring that one out :)

Here I have a paper cutter, a piece of Zebra Print Cardstock, Hot Pink Paper and a Stapler
that's it...easy peasy!

I cut the Cardstock to the size I wanted....This one is about 6 1/2in high and 3in wide.  I first fold up the bottom about an inch.  Then fold the top down so that it covers the bottom tab by about half an inch so it can later fit under it....make sense?  Maybe it will be easier to understand when you see the pics :)

You don't have to limit these matchbooks to just Cardstock, you can also use Paint Chip Samples

I just trimmed off the numbers off each side added color coordinating paper

Cute color coordinating paper on the inside!

You can make them as big or small as you like...The one on the left is about 3x3in and the one on the right is about 2.5 x 2.75in

Go Green....You could use Cereal Boxes for your outside and scraps from the recycle bin for the notepaper.
Get creative!  Give them as gifts!  Have a blast!

Happy Crafting!!
