Scrabble Art

Oh am I happy to be on my computer :) My Internet was down for the last 24hrs and I was having serious withdrawls!!  I'm so embarrassed to admit it, but it is true. It was horrible not having my blog world at my fingertips!

Thank goodness for my iPhone..whewwww! It helped me through the day :)

So I found this link for printable Scrabble Tiles HERE and I knew right off the bat what I wanted to do with them :)

Put them together to form the names of my family!

First I printed them out on white cardstock...then I cut out the letters I needed for my husband, kids, and my name.

I practiced on a piece of paper to see which way would look the best to intertwine our names, and this is what I came up with.....

I already had a frame handy, but I spray painted the back part black and placed the letters directly on the board using Glue Dots :)

I know this picture is horrible, but I didn't want to be in it so I had to take it from this angle so my reflection wouldn't be seen :)

I love the way it turned out, this was so much fun!

Obviously REAL Scrabble Tiles would have been ideal, but this was a good runner up.
